A distant light

Like so many of us, I need my Monday's so I can slow down from the need to get it done pace of the weekends. My house is wearing me down. The walls are built, the closets are in, the bookcase is started, the tile is in - it gorgeous, and my bedroom and living room are starting to be painted. It sounds like we have done a lot, and we have, but there is so much more to do. Hopefully in the next two weeks the bamboo flooring will get installed. That is when the light will shine. Dawn, we have a new camera, I will post pictures.

This is a painting that I started several years ago, it was worth pursuing but never quit right. This piece is several not worth pursuing paintings cut up, glued down and painted over. To wet my brushes in a new studio, I pulled it out and now I call it finished.
